Which university should I go to?
Fresno State University vs. Norwich University Okay, so this time tomorrow I want to KNOW which college I will be attending. I have written down pro's and con's for the two colleges I am torn between. Please read it, and give me your honest opinion on where you think I should go. Please take what I say into consideration rather than being selfish and telling me one over the other. Just read it.. I'd really appreciate all of your help: Norwich PROS *Tradition (ROTC) *Small campus *Good Student/Teacher ratio *Rural Area *Out-of-State (adventure) *Lots of forced studying CONS *Expensive! *Hazzing *Cold (snow snow snow!) *Flights (cost) Fresno State PROS *Guaranteed 4 Year ROTC Scholarship<> *Professors teach the class's *Good Student/Teacher ratio *Nice Campus *Close to home *Great Academics *I'd get the REAL college experience *A LOT of Clubs (Kickboxing, etc..) CONS *Wait List (dorms) *Urban Location *No traditions (ROTC)

Going by your list of pros and cons, it seems like Fresno State is the better choice.

You are inconsistent: you got a ROTC scholarship but there is no ROTC there? (Fresno) Other thing: you go into ROTC, you get hazed. Period. You cannot report it because that is a violation of the so-called 'honor code' and REAL soldiers can take it.

If you are really into academics, go to Norwich. However, if you want to have a more American college experience, go to Fresno. From your pros/cons, it seems like you should go to Fresno.

Money is usually the determining issue in a decision like this unless you are rich. It really depends on if you want to be close to home or not. That is a huge issue. I think outside of money, that would be the determining factor. Some people are independent, and some get too homesick. In a big college, you are more on your own.
