lost my drivers licence can i use a photocopy of my drivers license?
i have a flight from RIC(richmond) to FAT(fresno) in about a week and i have lost my drivers license/ learners permit.... But i have a photocopy of my drivers license.... would i be able to get past security using that? the airlines ill be flying on are continental and united. @natasha I don't have family out there but i have a gf(well ex gf still at the moment) that lives there....

no absolutely not...go to motor vehicles and get a replacement it should be about $20. If you have a passport you could use that though. Oh and do you have family in Fresno? I know some people out there..lol Good luck

You need a valid ID. So either take your passport, or go buy another license (you'll need to get a new one sometime anyway)- they'll give it to you on the spot, just have to pay. Its less than 50 bucks.

i assume you are under 18 since you mention a learner's permit. if you are under 18 then you don't have to worry cuz children under the age of 18 are not required to show any identification for flights with in the usa.

No. Anyone could have a photocopy of your licence so it is not valid ID.
